Founded in 1991 in Boca Raton, Florida, our restaurant began as a labor of love by Anthony Bruno, who spent years perfecting the craft of authentic coal fired cooking — a method that traces its roots back to the classic pizzerias of New York and Naples.
Anthony believed that the secret to an exceptional pizza lay not just in the finest ingredients, but in the intensity of the heat. Coal fired ovens reach temperatures of up to 900°F, creating a unique char on the crust that simply cannot be replicated by conventional ovens. That signature crunch, the blistered edges, the perfectly melted cheese — it became our calling card.

Anthony Bruno opens the original location at 21065 Powerline Rd, Boca Raton, FL. The first coal fired oven ignites, and the very first pie comes out with a perfect char — a moment that defines everything that follows.

Anthony's earns its first regional "Best Pizza in South Florida" award from the Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival. Word spreads rapidly and weekend lines stretch around the block.
Menu Expansion
